    Tirz is changing my life!

The pre-workout mental game to actually get there is real - that external push to start even when you don't feel like it. The results on BP and pulse are strong, those cardiovascular markers tend to respond faster than people expect.

    Ozempic then Mounjaro?

My experience too - Ozempic hit the food noise harder than Mounjaro for me. MJ has been gentler on the side effects though. Seems like a real tradeoff and different people land on different sides of it. Glad the switch worked for you overall.

I feel amazing & zero side effects! ✨

After that first dose roughness wore off, everything settled down for me too. Just sensitive skin and dry mouth now, nothing major. Your body adjusts and the side effects usually get way more manageable after the initial hit.

Down 10lbs in 6 weeks - Feeling Great!

I'm curious, Quirky_Goals, are you also doing any exercise, or is the weight loss mostly from the medication?

Down 10lbs in 6 weeks - Feeling Great!

Congrats to you! It’s been working great for me too! I felt so good at 0.25 that I stayed there for 5 months! I am also glad your doctor isn’t one of those who automatically wants to keep upping the dosage if you don’t need it.

    Sketchy BAC water?

i pin near the last spot even if it's close, rotating clockwise and tracking. also pinch the area, rub w/ alcohol pad in small circles after the shot — helps the stuff spread. my doc recommends it same way for other injections.

    Mounjaro vs Ozempic?

extremely medication sensitive, get worst side effects to everything. went on ozempic for insulin resistance and pcos. life changing. 2 years in, wear a cgm, change nothing and sugars spike when meds wear off. only awful burps and vomit early while figuring food. nervous at first but glad i took...

    Trouble with refillable injection pens?

This guy's my favorite on here. A nurse with 30 years said nobody in diabetes care swaps needles between every injection. You stick a needle on, use it till the pen's empty, pitch both. I even see the supply packs — 10 cartridges, 10 needles. Maybe he's onto something.

    Sharing my GLP-1 journey?

generic version in india launched and people are fear-mongering about safety, probably protecting margins since good generic costs like 25 bucks a month. worth it for weight loss with gym and high protein? would love input on whether to go that route.

    Mounjaro making me crazy?

Protein's the key when appetite's gone. Met my protein needs with shakes even when I couldn't eat — stopped hair and muscle loss. Starving yourself because you're not hungry is malnutrition. Different thing entirely.

    Enough with the protein craze?

appetite suppression hits around dose 2 or 3 but everyone's different. drink tons of water, get protein and fiber in even when you're not hungry. stay active and take progress pics early — scale can lie, pictures don't. use 32 gauge needles if you can, barely feel them. your journey's unique so...

Wegovy & the Illusion of Choice?

Metamucil might help—people use it a lot to slow digestion and feel fuller longer. Someone recommended it to me before I started my med and it's been solid.

    It's official - I'm under 260!

trazodone's non-addictive and worked for me for 5 years, got 5-7 hours most nights. easy to get online. dsip and epithalon did nothing. cjc-1295 without dac and ipamorelin helped a little.

    11 Months on GLP-1s!

T2D for 25 months now. my A1C dropped from 9 to 5.6, lost 11% body weight on ozempic. T2Ds show less weight loss than others apparently but I'm happy with it. psyllium fiber helps a ton — 2 teaspoons daily keeps things moving.

    Reta Fatigue - Anyone Else?

Quit obsessing over peptide stuff I can't control. Now I'm figuring out how many freezers run on one circuit.

    GLP-1 Time? Need Guidance

If you have insurance covering PT, your therapist can teach safe basic moves. Being sedentary long-term means you probably need guidance to avoid overworking some muscles while underworking others. Aquatic exercise classes are great too - easier on joints but water resistance gives real bang...

    Weirdest Ozempic food cravings?

Been on this two years. Only issue is intermittent bowel stuff. A1c went down from 6 to 4.5. Lost about 40, not huge for someone tiny like me. Food noise gone completely. Sometimes forgot meals. Two mg currently, food's just whatever.

    Just starting out... your advice?

Hey SnackSet, do you *have* to stay on it forever? That's kinda scary. I'm hoping to lose weight, get healthy, then get off it.

    Just starting out... your advice?

I've found I need to eat *more* on this medication than I did before! And I need to eat different stuff, like more protein, less carbs. You should set up a plan now. I wish I had started eating more protein from day one.
