Reta Fatigue - Anyone Else?

I've been on Retatrutide for about 9 weeks now and the scale is moving! I know some muscle is probably going with the weight, it's a trade-off I'm okay with for now. To give you some background, I started at a really low dose - 0.5mg/week - and I'm now injecting 2mg/week, split into two doses (Mon/Thurs). Down about 18 pounds so far.

My issue is how my strength training is going. I wouldn't say I lift super heavy, but I've noticed a big dip in both the weight I can lift and how many reps I can do. I'm probably down like 15% on both. Anyone else dealing with this?

I think I'm getting enough protein (around 90g) and carbs, so it's not a fuel issue. I've tweaked my diet a bit based on what I've read here.

I've also been looking at stuff to help with energy at the cellular level, like SS-31 and MOTS-C. I've also read about growth hormone peptides like Tesamorelin. I'm not taking any of those yet, but I'm considering it. I'd rather try lifestyle changes first, if possible.

I'd love to hear what others have experienced and any tips you might have!

Muscles need glycogen for energy. People on low-calorie or keto diets often report similar drops in stamina as their bodies switch to burning fat. I never used GLP-1 before.

I cycle a lot and was doing 15-20 miles most days, but I definitely felt a difference once I started reta. Some days, it was a real struggle to do even 10 miles. It's slowly getting better, though. It might be in my head, but it feels like the energy is coming from a different source, something less intense. I used to grab a pastry or bagel with peanut butter before rides for that carb rush, but now I try not to.

Yeah, I'm having the same issues. I only made it 40 minutes at the gym yesterday, and I was wiped out the rest of the day. I just started CJC-1295 + Ipa today, hoping it helps.

Hi everyone! I'm new to all of this. I've been on a low dose of Ozempic for a few weeks, and I haven't lost much weight at all, maybe a pound or two! I haven't been exercising either, and I snack at night because I feel psychological hunger. I'm wondering if anyone has lost weight without working out?

It's definitely possible to lose weight without exercise, especially at first. But from what I've read, moving more helps you keep muscle, which is important. I'd suggest talking to your doctor if you're concerned.

I saw a post where someone lost a bunch of weight in the beginning just from being on a GLP-1. Then, when they started exercising, the weight loss slowed down a bit. So maybe it'll work differently for you.

I know someone who's been on Ozempic for 2 years and goes to the gym 6 days a week. They said it changed their life! It's inspiring.

Quit obsessing over peptide stuff I can't control. Now I'm figuring out how many freezers run on one circuit.
