    Meds & marriage problems?

BMI is a population-level metric, not a personal one. For tracking large groups of people it's directionally useful. For individuals, other measures are more accurate.

    Weight back after stopping? Ugh!

I've heard good things about the communitymaintenance for figuring out how to stay on track after weight loss. Even if it's a different med, the advice should still be relevant!

    Weight back after stopping? Ugh!

The GLP1 receptor is all over! It's wild to me and I can't wait to learn more about other effects besides weight and insulin. I have been on it for only a week, and I am shocked by the drop in food noise - didn’t know I had it! I don’t need mountains of low cal food to feel full. I won’t stop...

    Down 111 lbs! Pics inside!

It's incredible how life-changing these meds can be. I had a terrible time getting coverage at first. Even with borderline diabetes and heart issues, my insurance denied GLP coverage multiple times! Compounded versions didn't do much for me. It was only when I switched to Medicare that I...

    Scale's not everything!

I wish I had started sooner. I agree slow and steady is the way to go. Also, I lost a little at first, but once I got to the full dosage it really started working.

    Scale's not everything!

And no loose skin! Lucky you being young. I started last fall and only started dropping pounds last month (not sure if it was the medication or a bug), but I look like a deflated balloon.

    Belly fat BE GONE!

I started Mounjaro almost 2 months ago, lost 12 lbs. But I can't eat anything. I'm 40 now, was 195 and now I’m 183 but I've had 2 C-sections, and I still have a flabby belly regardless. How do you guys manage to eat on this stuff? I can barely stomach anything. I force myself sometimes because I...

    Ozempic: Life After?

Cutting out sugary drinks was huge, and also reducing processed foods. I started cooking more at home, so I knew exactly what was going into my meals. I also focused on getting enough protein, which helped me feel fuller for longer.
