    Ozempic: Life After?

It can take a bit for the medication to reach its full effect, and some people react differently at first. I started with light exercise, like walking, and gradually increased the intensity as I felt better. Don't push yourself too hard too soon!

    Ozempic: Life After?

Thanks everyone for the support! Jim_Now, I was on 2mg for the majority of the time. It worked well for me, but everyone's different. And to anyone asking about my diet/exercise, it's nothing crazy. Just consistency. I try to get at least 30 minutes of cardio every day, and I lift weights 3-4...

    Ozempic: Life After?

Hey everyone. I wanted to share my experience coming off Ozempic. I started it in late 2022 and stopped mid-way through 2023. Since then, I've managed to keep the weight off. This is a lifetime battle, but I'm happy with my progress so far. Common Questions How much weight did you lose...

    Patience is key, newbies!

I've been on this journey for a few years now, first with one med, then another. It's been gradual, but I'm fine with that. However, I'm going through a bit of a crisis of identity. I've been heavy since childhood and always wore larger clothes. It's weird getting used to smaller sizes now. I...

Tirz or Reta First? Help a Bro Out

Started Reta 2 months ago. The worst sides were sulfur burps and skin tingling, but they were gone by week 6.

Tirz or Reta First? Help a Bro Out

Funny enough, I got lucky and snagged 30mg of Tirz on presale, so that's what I went with. Should last me a while.

    My A1c miracle!

It sure is! I gotta remember that progress isn't always a straight line. Some days are harder than others.

Tirz or Reta First? Help a Bro Out

I'd approach it like dosage increases: start with the weakest/lightest and go up from there.

Tirz or Reta First? Help a Bro Out

Reta was my first choice, and still would be, but things don't always go as planned. This Tirz/Survo stack is my workaround that gives me most of the Reta benefits. And for the bowels, drink those 8 glasses of water a day. It makes a huge difference.

    My A1c miracle!

I'm so encouraged by everyone's responses! I never thought it was possible, especially with the other health challenges I face. Thanks for all the support and positive vibes!

Tirz or Reta First? Help a Bro Out

Yeah, it wasn't fun. Something I was told to try after a few weeks on Tirz was to add 1mg of Survo three days after each Tirz dose. Apparently, this adds more GLP-1 and Glucagon, making it work similar to Reta without the heart issues, and it also helps with the food cravings. I'm pretty happy...

    My A1c miracle!

Hey, thanks!! I just got the green light to start the same medication, and I'm excited to see what happens!

Tirz or Reta First? Help a Bro Out

I initially chose Reta, but I got that dreaded Resting Heart Rate increase (went from 68 to 120!), so now I'm happy with Tirz.
