Real food on 1.7mg - what do YOU eat?

Thank you for posting this! I'm just starting month 2 and it's a real struggle to eat! I've been eating homemade protein oatmeal (or "proatmeal") and eggs. Strangely, I find that some vegetables are easier to eat than others. I'm currently finding success with steamed spinach and roasted sweet...

Switching from Wegovy to Zepbound - anyone else?

I agree. Sometimes it feels like doctors push these meds without really explaining things. My doctor put me on sema because I was "right on the line weight wise" - whatever that means!

Real food on 1.7mg - what do YOU eat?

I totally agree with your point that just saying "eat protein" is not helpful, especially when you don't have the energy to test out different meals (or when finding a good meal feels like a chore, which is my usual problem)! I also struggle with hot meals when I'm feeling sick, so here are some...

Switching from Wegovy to Zepbound - anyone else?

I'm a 48-year-old woman, and semaglutide just didn't do anything for me. But then I switched to tirzepatide, and the weight is finally coming off!

    Sema 1 month in!

I actually use a different app called Happy Scale. It shows a smooth average instead of all the daily ups and downs, which is great for me 'cause my weight fluctuates a lot.

    Needle gauge questions

Thinner needles dull too fast. Go 28 to 30 gauge. Hit the center of the vial, pinch your skin tight for easier entry.

    Finally made it to goal!

That's a big accomplishment! My healthcare provider suggested I also pay attention to non-weight related progress like improved sleep, energy, and how my clothes fit, since keeping the weight off is more of a mindset.

    UK Folks: Sharps Disposal?

I've tried a few spots, but I haven't noticed much of a change, really. The arms are the one place I haven't tried much. I've been losing at a steady rate, so I'm not bothered about sites just yet.
