Higher dose = more weight loss?

Higher doses generally lead to more weight loss, but remember that weight is only one measure of health. You could be gaining muscle while losing fat. Are you lifting weights and eating enough protein? If so, the scale might not be telling the whole story. Also, water retention can mess with the...

    Slow starter success stories?

I just read something interesting... apparently scales can give inaccurate readings when the batteries are low! I always assumed they'd just not turn on. Someone online said they thought they'd gained 10 pounds, but it turned out the scale was wrong!

If you're stuck at the same weight, try injecting in a different location.

People are saying I look *sick*?!

Ugh, that's such an awful thing to say! My family is the same. They think that thin = sick, and it's just not true. I'm the healthiest I've been in years!

People are saying I look *sick*?!

When you start getting comments like that from other women, it's because they're worried you'll be more attractive than them. Just keep doing you!

People are saying I look *sick*?!

People will ALWAYS have something to say. You're getting healthier, and that's what matters. They'll criticize you when you're heavier, they'll criticize you when you're lighter. It's a no-win situation. Don't feel the need to justify your health choices to anyone. You look amazing!

    Sema-free & feeling great!

I only regained about 15 lbs of the 85 I initially lost during my time off meds. I'm back on now, but it feels like it's just not working the same. Going to the gym 3x a week and tracking macros, it's a struggle to maintain.

6 Months on Semaglutide - Maintaining?

I've heard Mounjaro/Zepbound have fewer side effects for some, but those are tirzepatide, not semaglutide. Definitely talk to her doctor. Acid reflux could be aggravated by GLP-1s, so starting at a low dose is key.

    PT-141: Anyone tried it?

Chris02, I actually tried both Tesamorelin and Ipamorelin together for a couple months. It made a small change in my IGF-1, but overall not a big difference.

    PT-141: Anyone tried it?

I tried the low-dose thing, but stopped because of the side effects – flushing and just feeling unwell. I did notice a slight improvement, but not worth it for me. But it works well for some, so check out the older threads here.

Switching off Tirz to Reta, any advice?

Just saw someone say they switched from Zepbound to Mounjaro after five months because of an insurance issue. Apparently, their doctor messed up the prior authorization. It's wild how much money can be wasted because of simple mistakes! Make sure your paperwork is right, FiberLife216!
