    One year on the wagon!

Someone else posted recently that they went from 337 to under 175 in about 18 months. They're feeling more confident and energetic, plus their sleep apnea disappeared. That's a great reminder of the health benefits!

My peps came naked! Is this normal?

Wait a sec... Are we saying having regular bowel movements is a bad thing? I thought everyone was complaining about constipation on GLP-1s. I go 3-4 times a day myself!

My peps came naked! Is this normal?

I'm a bit paranoid, so I put the box in a ziplock with some silica gel packs, then into a freezer bag. After that, I wrap it in duct tape and write cryptic stuff on it with a Sharpie.

    Ozempic price drop in Canada?

Wow, that would be amazing. Here in the States, an Ozempic pen can cost a grand without insurance. Even though I'm type 2 diabetic, my insurer (you guessed it, United Healthcare) won't cover it. They'd probably prefer I just disappear and stop filing coverage requests.

    Ozempic: Unexpected Benefits?

We have been eating low carb for over 20 years. Before that, I had awful migraines behind one eye that would last for days. When we started low-carbing, my headaches got less frequent. After about half a year, I could go nearly a year without one. My husband and I love carbs and sugar, and when...

    Ozempic: Unexpected Benefits?

I used to wake up with headaches all the time. That hasn't happened since starting on a GLP-1. My CGM shows dawn phenomenon, so my glucose spikes right before I wake up. I think that was the culprit.

    Hydration Station - whatcha drinkin?

I buy those sugar-free water flavoring packets from the store and mix them into a big bottle of water. It adds just enough flavor to make it interesting without being too much.

    Sema, wine and emotional needs?

Like some people said previously, addiction is tough. I miss junk food emotionally. I feel like I need to wallow in an unhealthy meal, but sema stops me which is a positive and a negative at the same time. I'm still working on healing on the inside and out. I'm doing awesome. You're all doing...
