Down 60lbs! Can you see it?

260 to 201.5 is getting close to the goal line. The face change at that scale loss is usually the first thing other people notice. On the knee side - 60 lbs off is a meaningful reduction in joint load; that alone can slow the arthritis progression curve significantly.

    Down 150lbs - What a journey!

425 to 275 covers most of the hard parts - head and scale both.

    Tirz powder storage Q's

Freeze-dried tirz stores best at -20C in an airtight container with a desiccant - the Hydropeak approach works, but shrink-wrapping adds a moisture barrier worth having for anything held over 6 months.

Gopeps - Real deal or nah?

Most of these peptides aren't FDA-approved, but they're often legal to prescribe. The key thing is that reputable clinics use compounding pharmacies, which should have better quality control than random online sellers. Of course, you'll pay more for that assurance. I've also heard of a supplier...

    Food Aversions on MJ?

This is so true for me. It's less about what I *can't* eat and more about how differently I experience food now.

    Down 64, aiming for more!

Mochi balls...I had to learn how to make the dough since that's my favorite part. Awesome job on your progress!

    Anyone else feeling... different?

Same here! I feel less anxious and depressed. (I have diagnosed major depression and GAD.) I have way more energy and I'm sleeping better. My mind is so much clearer. I know it's the Mounjaro, because Wegovy was awful for me, but when I switched back to MJ, everything improved emotionally and...

    Food Aversions on MJ?

It's interesting that some people miss coffee, because it's almost my only treat now. I think I'm buying more coffee than before Mounjaro. I don't crave cakes or sweets, so I get a nice coffee from a local roastery when I need a pick-me-up. Mounjaro hasn't reduced my coffee cravings at all. I've...

    Food Aversions on MJ?

Since being on Mounjaro, coffee doesn't appeal to me like it used to. It was my go-to drink. Now I'm exploring different teas, and raspberry cranberry is the only one that I really enjoy. Also, I used to love rum and Coke, but now even the thought of it makes me queasy. I'm curious if others...

    Ozempic for a final push?

Solid. Midwestern built. And yes, big-boned. Heard it all my life. Use Ozempic as the tool it is designed to be and kiss those last stubborn 20 pounds goodbye. You will not regret this.

    Reta: TRT's New Best Friend?

I read that some people experience anxiety and insomnia with retatrutide, possibly due to the glucagon component. So, it might be something to watch out for.

    Reta: TRT's New Best Friend?

I read a study that touched on that, HawkGal. It suggested Reta helps you drop fat without losing too much muscle. The report stated that fat loss accounted for about 65-75% of the total weight lost, while lean mass made up around 25-35%. Still, you need to lift weights and eat enough protein!

    Pants Size Victory!

I started back in the spring and I’ve lost about seventy pounds. It's been a long road. I feel so much better and healthier now.

Down 100+ lbs, off meds 6 months!

Nicky82 that's exactly what I'm afraid of! I definitely need to start lifting weights. Maybe we can find a workout program together?

Down 100+ lbs, off meds 6 months!

Congrats! What an accomplishment! I've lost about 35 lbs, but need to exercise. I've never worked out before. How did you get started? I'm starting to see loose skin and really want to get healthy. I don't know how to start. I walk for 25 mins a few times a week. I need to start prioritizing myself.

Tirz to Reta - Anyone else?

I didn't take a break, but maybe I should have? I'm not a medical professional, so don't take my word for it.

Tirz to Reta - Anyone else?

What's Cagri? I actually have a lot more energy on Reta. The blood sugar-lowering effects from Tirz made me tired. But, that might happen with this stuff when I increase the dose. That makes sense. I think I'll go up to 8mg. It seems like if you're on a mid dose of T, you need a mid dose of R.

Tirz to Reta - Anyone else?

Just looking for some thoughts. Is it possible I got ahold of a weaker batch? On Tirzepatide, I dropped around 28 pounds, and I didn't even take huge doses. By the end, I was doing 5mg/week. It really helped with my appetite, stopped food cravings, and even curbed my beer intake (I could only...
