Reta dosage - time to go up?

My weight loss is always the same. I lose a lot at first, then plateau, then lose a lot again. I wish it was a steady 1-2 pounds a week but it's more like nothing and then 4 or 5 pounds overnight. I'm not sure if that's normal. If I were you, I'd probably go up in dosage. I started at 4 mg per...

Ozempic shut down the food chatter!

Totally! It's wild to think back on all the energy spent on food. Like a constant mental battle that most people can't even imagine.

Ozempic shut down the food chatter!

I've heard about people overcoming alcohol issues or reducing their consumption. I'm curious how it would work for people with addictions to really hard drugs - alcohol can be just as tough as meth, etc. It's kind of a miracle drug.

Ozempic shut down the food chatter!

I can't even begin to describe how much mental space food was taking up before starting this. For maybe 4 years straight, I couldn't go ten minutes without obsessing over food, my weight, just everything related to eating. I was constantly battling the urge to binge, and I just couldn't win...

    Oops! Mixed up my vials!

I'm an old bird (75), and my memory is shot. Someone told me to get a Niimbot label printer. It's brilliant! I label everything the second it arrives. I wish I knew a good way to figure out your peps. Sorry, dear.

Sema maintenance after 1 yr - success!

Great job, you look amazing. When I was working 12-hour shifts as a nurse, I dropped about 45 lbs and kept it off. But when I went back to grad school and wasn't exercising, I gained back about 15. You've gotta exercise or walk at least 7500-10000 steps every day and avoid greasy foods, or...

I love this community. I've kinda stalled out on my journey, too. Down 65 lbs. Considering a tiny increase. You look incredible!

    Staying slim after GLP-1s?

Yeah, I heard some folks had success with a slow taper down instead of stopping cold turkey.

    Staying slim after GLP-1s?

Yeah, you can def maintain your weight by keeping calories at maintenance levels or lower. The hard part is doing it without the appetite suppression and slower digestion from the meds.
