Reta test = ZERO?!

Anyone else hear about a recent batch of Reta, from a group purchase, that came back showing zero active ingredient, just filler? Trying to figure out where it came from...

I think I saw something about that. I can't recall the specific provider, but my memory is that they claimed the odd test results were because their research team had tweaked the formula with an extra molecule to sidestep patent issues (or something along those lines). They insisted it was still legit retatrutide.

I think it was distributed out of a certain princess's discord. I don't think the patent thing is correct at all. The distributor is reputedly making it good with everyone.

The patent circumvention thing was about BPC-157, but I can't remember the source. I think they added an extra amino acid and didn't tell anyone. That's basically fraud.

Whoa, zero percent active ingredient?

I'd definitely like to know more about this. Who was the supplier, and what's the story? Spill the details if you've got 'em.

Yeah, looks like it might be the same. I'm trying to track down other group buy participants besides the distributor, since they got it from a GB, it seems. The distributor is working with the supplier to get us a new batch, fingers crossed.

The distributor hasn’t confirmed their source yet. We suspect one vendor, but they might just be a reseller and not know who actually manufactures it. Layers, indeed! 😓

I don't think that's it. If it's the same bad batch, I'd guess they both got it from a big overseas wholesaler who isn't even close to the actual manufacturer. The distributor is the group buy organizer, not someone who bought from one.

Just FYI- you probably didn't mean to ask your question on an old zero peptide thread. Maybe find a more relevant thread or start a new one.

I've seen lots of people asking if 'research peptides' are safe for human consumption. Is there a general consensus on how safe they are?

As with any research chemical, proceed with caution. Start with very low doses to assess your individual reaction, and do your homework on potential side effects. Just because others are using them doesn't automatically make them safe for you.
