Just started Oz... is this normal?

Zero appetite at 48 hours on .25mg is a common first-week response at your starting weight - T2D cases tend to show stronger early suppression. The Metformin combination is standard and doesn't alter the experience. Most find the appetite normalizes by week 2-3.

Hang in there, it gets better!

250 to 140 and two years on Wegovy at the same dose is one of the longer sustained-response stories here. The side effects mellowing out after the first few months is the consistent pattern - the early weeks are the hardest and most people don't realize the adjustment period is finite. For...

    Ozempic: A year out!

A year out, stopped, and still tracking down is the better outcome - most regain when they stop. The fact that it held without the medication suggests the behavioral changes locked in alongside the pharmacological effect.

Sema's over for me - crazy side effects!

It's not necessarily the sema. It's losing weight. Look up how many people who get bariatric surgery end up needing gallbladder removal. I'm dealing with it right now and getting mine out soon. The major risk factors are: 1) being female, 2) being over 40, and 3) weight loss. Don't blame the...

Sema's over for me - crazy side effects!

My sister never had any surgery or weight loss meds and she had to get hers taken out. She was pretty heavy and eating terribly. This was maybe a little over a decade ago. After I had gastric sleeve in 2022, I started having gallbladder issues two years later. I was keeping the weight off, but...

    Overfilled Vials - Big Deal?

A few extra mgs is no biggie but 30-50%? That's sketch. I also don't wanna spend my own money verifying fills, since testing ain't cheap.

Splitting Tirz Dose: Good or Bad?

I titrated down on sema a little while back and the hunger came back with a vengeance. And I got all bloated. My weight started to creep up and it freaked me out. I'm back up to my regular dose now.

Splitting Tirz Dose: Good or Bad?

No big deal at all. I did it for almost a year. I'd do 2.5 mg one morning and 2.5 mg like 3-4 days later in the evening. Honestly with the half-life of tirz, taking it both times in the morning probably wouldn't even make a difference lol.

Sema worked?! Still can't believe it!

Okay, so picture this: me at my heaviest, 240lbs back in '19. Now flash forward to last night, and I'm a cool 138lbs. That's 102lbs gone, with 62 of those vanishing in the last six and a half months thanks to sema. I was aiming for 150 originally, but that wasn't quite in the healthy BMI zone...

    Sketchy BAC water?

I saw someone say the easiest way is to add the same amount of water as the drug you're using. So, like, if you have a 6000iu vial, you'd add 6mL of water. Makes sense?
