    Ozempic plateau during perimenopause?

I switched over when I hit that 4-month wall at max dose - my doctor wanted me to be patient but honestly after month 2 I was ready to try something else. Lost the first 40 and then another 60 once we made the change. It's wild how the body just needed that adjustment to kick back in. Stick with...

Sema Side Effects - Any Way to Dodge Them?

I took a daily probiotic before starting and I swore by it. Wonder if adding one now would help my gut balance? I haven't had much diarrhea or constipation though. Strong coffee every morning probably keeps things moving for me 😂

    Appetite back on higher dose?

Thanks for all the input, everyone! I'm going to stick it out for a few weeks and see if things even out. If not, I'll talk to my doctor about adjusting the plan.

    Appetite back on higher dose?

The time after my first dose at the lowest level and before I got to 1.0, my food noise and appetite both came back. Ever since I've been on 1.0, the cravings are much less and my appetite is way smaller.

    Appetite back on higher dose?

Hey everyone, I just went up a dose level and my hunger is definitely back. The food cravings are creeping back in a little bit too. Hoping this isn't permanent. Still shedding pounds though, thankfully. Anyone else experience this?

    Week 1 on GLP-1 - anyone else?

I can totally relate to . Food noise used to rule my life until I tried this. I didn’t even realize how big of a deal it was until it disappeared.

    Week 1 on GLP-1 - anyone else?

The Week 1 feels are legit. My mental obsession with food chilled way before the scale budged. A bunch of people I know on similar meds have mentioned that same early 'wow' moment.

    Reta's making me HUNGRY??

It's weird how GLP-1s can mess with your taste, isn't it? I've heard people say they get repulsed by certain foods on sema. I haven't experienced that, but I can imagine it making things even harder. I stick to simple meals to avoid any weird cravings or aversions.

    Reta's making me HUNGRY??

There's another kind of hunger, maybe not for everyone, but a big deal for me and others with binge eating disorder or food addiction, which is common with obesity. As you lose weight, you get hungrier. Your body's not happy about the calorie deficit. That's why people say their GLP isn't...

    I'm off Ozempic!

So, I kicked off this journey at 248 pounds around July '23, and now I'm floating around 158. I tapered off slowly, lowering the dose bit by bit. It's like my appetite faded as the dosage went down, which is kinda wild. But I'm feeling great and so thankful for what Ozempic helped me learn...

    Tirz and no zest?

I think we're a minority in the grey GLP-1 community: I also dose twice weekly.

    Tirz and no zest?

I felt exhausted on tirzepatide too. It's not as universal as GI issues, but it's still a common side effect.

    Tirz and no zest?

I also experienced severe fatigue on tirzepatide. I was convinced I was sick, and so were my doctors. Eventually, the fatigue mostly subsided. I also lowered my dosage. I don't take anything to combat the tiredness, but I am adding retatrutide, which I believe is less likely to cause it.
