    Mounjaro 5mg -28 lbs since Sept '24!

Start low and go slow! Don't rush to increase your dose. Pay attention to your body and listen to what it's telling you. And keep your diet consistent but don't be afraid to treat yourself once in a while. Congrats on starting your journey! Keep us updated!

That's some fantastic A1C improvement, A_Thin_New_Me! What was it when you started, if you don't mind me asking? I'm hoping to ditch some meds myself!

    Down 47 lbs! It's working!

I've been on this journey for a while now, and one thing I've learned is that diet changes are HUGE. I cut out almost all processed foods and that made a massive difference. Has anyone else found that?

    My GLP-1 journey

I started taking medication back in the summer of '22. It's been a gradual process over these last couple of years, but the weight seems to be staying off for good this time. I've always struggled with keeping the pounds off; my size went up and down like a roller coaster until my 40s when I...

    GLP-1s and BMI weirdness?

I'm glad someone else understands! I've dropped like 40 pounds, but my BMI still says 'too high' lol. Makes me feel crazy.

    GLP-1s and BMI weirdness?

I hear you on the BMI thing. I finally reached a 'normal' BMI after using a GLP-1. It's been a journey, but the word 'normal' feels so loaded. Was I 'abnormal' before? Less worthy? It's a weird feeling!
