Skinny fat and Reta - keep going?

Junk food was the problem my whole life, even ate ham sandwiches with crushed doritos. Getting myself together took years. Retired to a sailboat, these compartments are tight for bigger folks. Motivation to drop it and keep it off works.

    Almost hit my big milestone!

Couple times pinning NAD subQ I hit a vein or very perfused muscle or decent size capillary and got a similar rush. Scared the crap out of me first time but it passed in a couple minutes. Both times I was rushing and didn't pinch skin properly. Ringing ears, tight chest, racing pulse, heavy...

Down 50 lbs, almost a year on GLP-1!

Pardon the question, but was a full year really the timeline for just 23.5 lbs? You look incredible, seriously, but I've read that some folks drop 20 in five months.

GLP-1: Eating less, still no scale movement

Are your eating patterns actually different since starting Ozempic? The drug doesn't directly cause weight loss - it just makes food less appealing and steadies blood sugar if you're dealing with diabetes.

    Reta: TRT's New Best Friend?

Congrats on dropping the weight. Best approach is donating the old pieces and moving forward. Try charity shops, shelters, or those bins in parking lots. Just hand them off. Feels good, plus it's symbolic of closing one chapter and starting fresh with new patterns and thinking. This is my take...
