Pics are more motivating than the scale!

Modest losses that friends miss are still real changes. The person in the body notices even when nobody else does - that counts.

GLP-1s and Sleep: What to Expect

The sleep position versus reflux conflict with AFib is a real medical tension. Elevating the head of the bed slightly can address the reflux piece without requiring full side-sleeping - worth raising with both the cardiologist and whoever manages the GLP-1 protocol.

Mounjaro gave me my life back!

Getting stuck in a narrow range for two years after losing from 400 pounds is a different kind of challenge than the initial loss. Maintenance under significant set point pressure is genuinely hard. Have you looked at what minimum effective dose keeps you in that range versus what would allow...

Down 40lbs since Jan, feeling great!

never had food noise honestly. didn't overeat after my gastric surgery before this either. never craved sweets - if anything it's weird stuff like liver or steak or fish. lost weight first with bypass surgery, now with this med. been active most of my life, played sports in school and all that.

1 Week Down on the Injections!

Just started NAD+ today and yeah, it stung going in. 25 mg buffered but still got uncomfortable redness for an hour. Diluted the 500mg vial with 3 mL saline, thinking of adding more. Did IM for glutathione to avoid that so maybe trying IM for this too.

Finally under 200 after all these years!

pro bodybuilders pack on like 10 lbs muscle per year even dosed to the eyeballs on anabolics and growth hormone. peptides are mostly for cuts before competition. if you're trying to build muscle with peptides you're in for the long haul.

    Off the meds, still good!

I'm aiming for a slow taper too when I get there, PulseBTW445. Seems like the smartest way to go. I've read about people who drop the meds cold turkey and then are shocked when their appetite comes roaring back!

    Nausea on GLP-1s: what helps

Sat at 2.5mg for 6 months (other GLP1s didn't work). Few rough days but learned they're preventable — eat small light meals, skip pork and fried stuff, minimal overeating. Drink tons, minimum 80oz, 120oz feels best. Bad days get Pepto, Zofran, ginger, my acid reflux med.

Okay so I'm not crazy! It just sucks. I'm trying to stick to healthier stuff but the urge to order a pizza is so strong.

    Suddenly craving EVERYTHING?!

Wait_and_Weight Yeah, I know. I was ON naltrexone BEFORE the Ozempic. That's why I'm confused!

When did the scale finally budge??

I'm so encouraged seeing posts about everyone's results. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this. I just want to lose around 30-35 pounds and be back in my old jeans. Wish me luck!

Down 18lbs in 6 mo... slow n steady!

I work in health... rarely does anyone, even diabetics with thyroid issues, struggle to lose 20lbs in six months. 20 pounds in that timeframe is, statistically, not a lot.

    Suddenly craving EVERYTHING?!

Just had my second injection yesterday. The queasiness is intense, hoping it chills out tomorrow. But here's the kicker. Yeah, I can't put away as much food as usual, but the cravings are unreal! I'm dying for tacos, spaghetti carbonara, literally any cake. Before this, I was taking Adipex...

I'm being honest... losing 20 pounds over half a year is possible without any meds.

When did the scale finally budge??

I'm one week in, tracking everything in my calorie app, and staying about 500 calories below my maintenance. I'm not working out as much because I'm observing Ramadan, but I was pleasantly surprised to see I dropped 1.5lbs. Could just be normal fluctuation, but I'll take it! Everyone's body is...
