    Pen Issues: First Dose Off?

Dull needle resistance is usually the culprit when a previously painless injection suddenly fights back - the gauge cuts much less cleanly once the tip is compromised, and the added force changes how the subQ tissue responds. Swapping to a fresh needle mid-vial is always worth it when resistance...

NAD+ messing with my blood sugar?

The caffeine angle is worth checking first - GLP-1s often reduce intake naturally, and withdrawal shows as cortisol-driven glucose variability on a CGM even without obvious symptoms.

Tirzepatide: First Month & Source Q's

Compounded at under $200 is the route most people land on after the first month - the brand pen experience is useful as a baseline, but the economics push almost everyone toward compounded for the long haul.

    GLP-1s: Miracle or Hype?

even now there's newer drugs in development. eventually something better will hit the market, maybe something that lets your body make its own glp1 again.

Lost weight, but don't *look* like it??

I saw a post where someone said it took them almost a YEAR to lose 30 pounds on sema! They lost a bunch at first but then it slowed WAY down. It's encouraging to know other people are also "slow losers"!

Lost weight, but don't *look* like it??

I realized my clothes were probably way too tight when I lost 30 lbs and they still fit! Eventually, I did start dropping sizes. The progress pics helped me stay motivated when I felt like nothing was changing.

    GLP-1's 4 life?

hate to say it but feels like women get shorted on the medical front here. not like only men get colon or stomach cancer, right? tired of dropping 800+ monthly on insurance that gets me one annual visit and a shrug. had to source my own peptides cause docs won't help with my iron and ferritin.

Lost weight, but don't *look* like it??

Like DocInTheBox said... I'm down almost 100 pounds, and nobody noticed for the first 60. The last 40 pounds have made the visible difference. Keep going! You're doing great!

    Mystery GLP-1s: Am I nuts?

Yeah I'm tracking everything too. When I reconstitute, when I first use each aliquot, when I dump it and why. Weight and measurements every Saturday morning. No smart scale yet but I'm doing the whole thing on paper. Labs and DEXA already done.

Easing off the dose... anyone else?

I have a friend who's been on similar meds for like 20 years! She seems to be doing great. Helps me not worry so much. As long as it keeps working and my bloodwork is good, I'm sticking with it.

Easing off the dose... anyone else?

I'm 69F, 5'0", and have type 2 diabetes, plus other health stuff. I started this journey in March of last year. I went from 10mg to 7.5mg to 5mg. I've been on 5mg for the last six months, and so far, so good. My A1C is okay, not perfect, but it never will be because mine is genetic, not...

    Sketchy lipo shots?

I get my injections (the "Bio Boost Plus") from a compounding pharmacy. I'm pretty happy with it. I bought a kit from an online seller and it burned like crazy for days! I tried reducing the dose, but it still messed me up. As a last resort, I tried an IM shot in my leg, and I was limping for a...

    Sketchy labs, need new sources?

I saw someone today say 'I stopped my Tirz because I was broke, but then months later I refilled and took my 8mg dose. Now I feel like I'm dying, what do I do?' Uhhh...it's prescribed, call your doctor and get off Reddit. And then all the comments telling them to 'just skip a week' blew my mind...

    Sketchy labs, need new sources?

I see what you're saying, but I kinda disagree when it comes to the general public. Common sense isn't that common anymore. I've seen peeps on Reddit and forums asking how to mix or filter peptides. People are lazy and don't want to put in any effort. I kinda like how some testing companies are...
