GLP-1's 4 life?

lilly just got fda approval for orforglipron (brand name foundayo). the name is way better than it could've been. interesting to see how the market takes it. pricing sounds like zepbound territory, so not amazing if you're uninsured.

was pretty set on starting this a few days ago but the more i read the more unsure i am. seemed simple at first but there's like a bunch of different routes. insurance vs online vs all these different ways people do it. not sure what matters once you're a few months in. might be overthinking but how did you decide which way to go?

insurance got caught off guard by how popular these drugs got. they're tightening eligibility, adding hurdles, dropping coverage entirely. it's getting worse, not better.

hate to say it but feels like women get shorted on the medical front here. not like only men get colon or stomach cancer, right? tired of dropping 800+ monthly on insurance that gets me one annual visit and a shrug. had to source my own peptides cause docs won't help with my iron and ferritin.

you've worked hard, shows. can you exercise? closer to goal weight, check with a surgeon about loose skin removal. insurance usually wants 6 months to a year of loss first. will do wonders for your confidence if you can do it.
