    Skipped the gym entirely for the first 4 months and still kept most of my muscle by hitting 10K steps a day plus 100g protein. Bodyweight squats and pushups three times a week was enough — DEXA at month 6 showed only ~2 lb lean mass loss. Not gym-pretty but not skinny-fat either.

    I've been on semaglutide for a while now and I'm almost at my goal. Don't give up! Incorporating exercise helps a LOT. I am hoping to maintain without it eventually... but we will see. It's been a long journey to get here.
