    Rybelsus - one week in!

First week on Rybelsus often undersells the trajectory - the oral bioavailability means effects build more gradually than injectable forms, and 4 lbs in week one is ahead of the typical oral sema curve. POTS on top of a bone disease changes the exercise component significantly; the medication...

Can't seem to, ya know, GO! 😩

Carbonation amplifies the bloating and discomfort when gastric emptying is slowed - worth cutting first.

    GLP-1 weight regain - inevitable?

stopped once for almost two months by accident. gained it back. went back on the dose i was at and it took a couple months to kick in again. was bummed because before the stop i was dropping steady. but eventually my body shifted back into loss mode.

    Birthday glow-up!

covid wrecked my routine. i'd lost 80 lbs on my own, was hitting the gym daily. once lockdown happened, it all fell apart—gained back 55 lbs. but i'm down 15 now in 38 days and it feels so good to be getting my life back. happy for you too!

    Sudden weight drop--normal?

I’m using MJ because I was diagnosed with fatty liver, and I need to lose the fat around my liver and other organs. I've had 8 shots of 2.5mg and 11 shots of 5mg (one more shot of 5mg coming up) and I've only lost 9 pounds total. Is that normal? I thought I'd lose more. I just had a checkup and...

    Sudden weight drop--normal?

I've been taking Mounjaro for around 5 months. I've been averaging about 1.5 - 2 pounds each week which is perfect for me. But this week, I've lost almost 5 pounds since last Friday. My diet hasn't changed and my activity levels are the same. I'm so confused! Has anyone else ever had this happen?

Weight Back After GLP-1s -- Inevitable?

planning to start mounjaro tonight with my first shot but had a normal dinner a couple hours before. will that cause more nausea or stomach stuff than if i'd eaten less? bit stressed about it.

    Ozempic stopped working?

Ozempic losing effect after years is receptor downregulation - the response curve flattens at chronic dosing. Most people at that stage either need a dose adjustment, a switch to Tirz for the dual mechanism, or a structured break to restore sensitivity. The 15 lbs and then regain pattern is the...

    Almost a Year on Mounjaro!

Planned to taper off tirz once I hit goal. Quit nicotine easy in the last weeks after trying countless times before—this med made that happen. Emotional bluntness is slight but easy trade-off. So many parts of my life improved at once that I'm thinking about microdosing instead of stopping...

    Obesity Types: GLP-1s a fix?

Could've written this myself — even had a trainer! Switched to Tirz and got more traction. Still a slow loser at max dose: 30 lbs in a year, 210 to 178. Want another 15 off but thrilled I don't weigh food, count macros, or binge. Weight stays off.

    Scale isn't budging. Ugh!

I've noticed some changes even when the scale isn't moving much. My clothes are fitting better, and I feel stronger. Maybe I'm gaining muscle? That would explain why the scale hasn't budged as much as I'd like. Keep it up! You are looking great!
