    Traveling with Glucagon-like Peptides?

Small soft cooler with a freezable ice pack handles a week fine - sema pens are stable at room temperature for up to 28 days once opened, so the cooler is a precaution. TSA allows injectable medications with ice packs, no issues.

    Protein is Key!

Collagen with whey covers what either alone leaves out - the connective tissue support that a pure whey stack skips.

GLP-1s: More than just weight loss?

MacroFactor's adaptive TDEE is the right fit for GLP-1 users - static calorie targets go stale as intake drops. The loop feedback matters more than the starting number.

    Weight back after stopping? Ugh!

For anyone who is considering starting the medication, if you do not have other health problems and you managed to lose weight, taking you below the BMI level needed to qualify, how can you get a doctor to keep prescribing it? I am new to this.

    Weight back after stopping? Ugh!

I agree. I'm fairly smart, but I can't control food cravings. Ozempic fixed that, so my rational side could take over and make better choices. Some people have metabolic problems, but many of us struggle with cravings and our lizard brain always wanting to EAT! We literally eat ourselves into...

    Type 2 under control!!

Just got back from the doc! My A1c was a crazy high 13% three months ago. I've been on a tiny dose of .25 of this stuff for a month, and now it's down to 8%! I also dropped about 6 pounds! Feeling really grateful for this medication.

    Two years on sema!

Oh yeah, definitely had plateaus. A couple of times I adjusted my dose with my doctor and that helped. Sometimes I just had to be patient and keep going.

    Two years on sema!

Sure! The biggest thing is sticking with it, even when the scale isn't moving. There were weeks where I barely saw a change, but my clothes were fitting better. Also, listen to your body!

Sema is cheating? Tell me more...

Has anyone tried other peptides with this? I tried one a while back that was supposed to help with growth hormone. I had to stop because the side effects were terrible.

Sema is cheating? Tell me more...

It's definitely the easier way for me, and I don't care. I've struggled with my weight since I was a kid. Life's hard enough, who cares if something makes it easier?
