Congrats, I'm excited for you! You've got this. I'm on 1.5 mg tablets for just over 2 weeks and down 5 pounds though I think a lot is water weight. Are you doing injections or pills?
Calories in vs calories out is really the foundation. If low carb works for you, stick with it. Plenty of folks enjoy that style, but I can't do it year round. I'll cycle it back in when I need hunger relief. That said, carbs make life taste better.
September 2025 through now - dropped 16 kilos and it shows in how my clothes fit. Hard to see it on yourself day to day, but the scale and this dress I found again tell the real story. Pretty pleased with where I'm at.
September 2025 into April 2026 transformed me. The mental sharpness, physical stamina, and how I engage with my kids and spouse-it's beyond anything I expected. Much further to go but I'm genuinely thankful.
Wardrobe overhauls hit different when you're actually fitting into things. Went through the same cycle with shoes - kept buying when I dropped sizes. Even dusted off old hobbies once the weight came off. Wild to look back at how much that consumed.
Lost over 60 over two years and no chest loss for me which sucks. Band is tiny but bras work the same. Frustrated I can't drop shirt size because upper body is too big and rest is hanging. Just being squeezed by both.
Injection might not get through the blood-brain barrier the same way the spray does. The spray can travel through the olfactory nerve to your brain. So I lean toward that, though it could be all in my head.
Get yourself a legit pen if you haven't already. Knockoffs are garbage - I tested one with a syringe and it was totally off on the dose. Go with a trusted source and verify it actually works before relying on it.
The health insurance approval fight has been brutal. They approved Ozempic but rejected Zepbound even though my doc wants me on tirzepatide specifically. Filed the appeal and waiting. The scale won't budge without the right dose.
