GHK-cu: Did I expect too much?

Wanted to give GHK-cu (injected under the skin) a fair shot before sharing my thoughts. First run: 6 weeks at 2mg daily. Then a month off. Just finished another run, 8 weeks at 2mg/day. And... honestly, I'm underwhelmed.

I did notice some improvement in skin firmness. The thinning skin on my hands (I'm a guy in my mid 50s) improved maybe 50%. Plus, I think my fine lines and wrinkles are a bit better. Maybe my skin tone is a little better too.

Just adding my experience here. Overall, I'd say the changes were pretty subtle. I see them, but no one else has mentioned anything. Not exactly blown away.

Maybe one more run? It's not super expensive, so I guess it was worth a try. Guess I built it up in my head too much.

We'd all love to believe these peptides are miracle workers that show overnight, but they just aren't. Our bodies are already so messed up to start with. Each and every body is different, and reacts different. The semaglutides are doing wonders for people, and yes, it does feel like magic, but it's simply adjusting our biochemical processes and that takes time. Same for any kind of peptide. Some will seem to work immediately, others take much longer. GHK-Cu seems to be one that takes a while. I've been using my own mix of peptides with GHK-Cu for nearly two years now, and almost never take breaks. If I do, it's only for a week when I am traveling and don't want to bring all the pins with me. It's taken this long to see real changes... but I also keep in mind that other things need to be done at the same time. It's just one part of a bigger plan for skin and hair. Things like face cream, skin care, etc. A series of injections alone isn't going to cut it. There's more to it. I'd suggest you continue, but add in some additional steps in your skin care. Micro-needling, creams, serums, etc. Yes, adding other things takes time, but shots alone aren't enough since they aren't magic. Each peptide works on a certain biochemical process in the body. There are other biochemical processes involved in each aspect of our body, those have to be addressed as well.

My aging skin is getting better, less fragile, but it's not perfect and will take time and additional work to get it better. Same with hair and everything else I am trying to improve.

I would say that those are actually pretty decent improvements. My own skin on my legs had gotten REALLY thin, and now it's back to normal, and that was worth it to me.

With a half-life of just minutes, it delivers short bursts. After about half a year, I've noticed thicker skin and no sagging after dropping nearly 100 pounds. If you're after quick results, maybe consider Botox.

Refill the pen, never the cartridge!
If you're going to use something every day for a month, you should probably filter it.
That's a whole other topic, but there are vids and such for it.

There are tons of places to look for pens. You'll find lots of discussion here. What's available and cheapest changes frequently because these are small companies. If there's a certain pen you want, you'll find them in various shops and group buys.

For basic pens, some online retailers are fine, but learn about different types and how to test them (and common issues). Some peptide vendors ship quickly. For auto-injectors and better pens , the search takes more time, but some smaller vendors have them.

For cartridges, it's better to get them from a more reliable source:

Then, you'll need pen needles, and I'd suggest a couple brands. You might want to inject a little deeper with GHK-Cu so a slightly longer length might reduce bruising. Some vendors here often have discount codes!

Good luck!

I did 6 weeks of GHK-Cu, and then about two months of a blend. My skin is thicker, and people randomly tell me I look great lately. I feel like my face looks younger. I split the blend into AM/PM doses because I get bad injection site reactions, and wanted to lower the dose at each injection. I'll take a month or so off and then do another bottle. I also use another peptide for tanning, which may or may not add to the equation.

I started a KLOW blend two weeks ago and I already see a difference in my skin and how quickly I recover after workouts. I'm also taking Reta, and I was really tired, but now that I've added KLOW I'm doing much better.

Been researching GHK-cu for ~2 months at 2mg/day and I def have noticed a change in how hard it is to push the pin into my rock solid stomach muscles... or not! OK, well, maybe my skin seems a little more firm, and if my wife says I look better, I'll take it!

Has anyone tried combining GHK-cu with Ipamorelin/CJC 1295? I've been reading about that combo.

I just started researching Ipamorelin/CJC1295... what kind of changes are people hoping to see with that?

The health insurance approval fight has been brutal. They approved Ozempic but rejected Zepbound even though my doc wants me on tirzepatide specifically. Filed the appeal and waiting. The scale won't budge without the right dose.
