    GLP-1s really can be life-changing ✨

The brain quieting with ADHD tracks the same receptor mechanism as food noise reduction - GLP-1 pathways in the prefrontal cortex regulate more than appetite, and the pre-diabetic reversal running alongside it is two outcomes at once.

    PCOS + GLP-1 update!

PCOS responds because the insulin resistance is the driver GLP-1s hit directly.

    Cloudy Reta - normal?

Cloudiness is aggregation, not contamination - AA water helps keep Reta soluble.

    Exhausted on Mounjaro?!

glad others aren't fixated on BMI targets either. i'm 6'4", wear size 8 hats and size 14 shoes. 'healthy' weight for me is like 152–205 which is impossible. i set my own targets: 350, then 300, then 250 or so. maxed at 376, now at 333. just happy i'm moving.

    Retatrutide Names: Wild Guesses?

Lilly stock is already sky-high. I thought about buying some to cash in when Reta gets approved, but wow. It's around $990, even hit $1,014 recently. I might still do it.

    Booze on GLP-1s?

I've heard some interesting things about how these medications affect other cravings too. Some researchers are looking at similar drugs, sometimes called 'peptides' to curb other addictions. Fascinating stuff!

    Meat and eggs gross now!?

It's not always 100%. It takes time to learn how to manage the food noise. I dropped nearly 150 lbs, and I'm still on 2mg. I CAN eat some days.

    Booze on GLP-1s?

Early on, I noticed beer made my stomach hurt the next day because it sat in my stomach longer. Like others, I've noticed wanting to drink less.

Hair falling out on Zepbound :(

For folks dealing with loose skin after losing a lot of weight, have you looked into skin removal surgery? I saw someone on social media who lost 130lbs (80 of it on weight loss meds) and had arm and face/neck lifts. They said their recovery wasn't too bad. Just something to consider!

    Meat and eggs gross now!?

Protein shakes, lentils and beans are good sources of protein. Just make sure you're consuming an adequate amount. I'd recommend adding chia seeds. They're full of good fats, are calorie-dense, and have protein and fiber. I've been on this for several months and I still have an aversion to...

    Booze on GLP-1s?

The alcohol can sneak up on you way later. Hangovers are much worse, even with a couple of drinks and some food. Have a sober friend around until you understand how you react. And even then, tread carefully.
