Started at 210, now at 148!
Just wanted to share my experience. For years, dealing with PCOS has been such a battle. I tried every type of diet and workout, but the scale wouldn't budge. It was so disheartening.
About a year ago, I managed to get approved for a GLP-1 medication (a name-brand one!) specifically for PCOS. Getting that approval felt like a miracle. It wasn't about wanting a quick fix; it was about finally getting support to help my body work the way it should.
Now, I'm down from 210 to 148 pounds. That's 62 pounds gone, but honestly, the way I feel is even more important. I'm not always tired, my hormones are much more stable, and I'm not afraid to weigh myself. I actually feel good in my own skin!
I still watch what I eat, stay active, and take care of myself mentally, but this medicine has given me a real chance. If you're out there struggling with PCOS and feeling hopeless, know that you're not alone!
