Can't do protein or fats on this stuff!

Morning protein shake covers turmeric, B complex, NAD+ precursors, liver sups, and a multi. First meal around noon: D3/K2, vitamin C, more turmeric. After dinner: taurine, magnesium, glycine. Spread across three batches. With appetite this low, supplements are the only way to cover the gaps - I...

    Tirzepatide as a pill?

That's a great point. It's probably geared toward people who don't like needles.

Oops! Messed up my 4mg dose 🤦‍♀️

Adding to The_Lady's comment, dose tracking is super important! Many patients find it helpful to not only track the dose but also the injection location. Some evidence suggests that there may be slight differences in absorption based on location. Rotating injection sites is also important to...

Coming off GLP-1s... anyone else nervous?

why stick it out at 2 mg with all those side effects? lower the dose or try splitting 1 mg on injection day and another 1 mg a few days later. nobody should have to suffer.

    Tirzepatide as a pill?

One source says it's 'likely unsafe'. That covers it pretty well, doesn't it?

    Tirzepatide as a pill?

Seriously?! I saw it on one of those compounding websites. And they're charging the same price it seems as their injectable version. Thoughts?

    Inflammation and joint pain help?

I've noticed that BPC, TB, and KPV are great for soft tissue injuries and mild inflammation. Tirz also helped with minor inflammation, like stiffness. If you're in serious pain, none of this stuff will eliminate it entirely. It cured my elbow tendinitis and leg stiffness, but it's had no effect...

    Inflammation and joint pain help?

I've been taking osteo biflex with turmeric. It kinda helped years ago with back pain, but it isn't as effective now that I’m almost 50 😂

    Inflammation and joint pain help?

I'm at 12.5mg right now. Was on 10mg for about four months until recently.

    Inflammation and joint pain help?

I drink almost a gallon a day, or the tirz dries me out. I'm on prescription allopurinol for the uric acid, but it doesn't seem to work as well since I started tirz. 🤷‍♂️

    GLP-1 patent expiration?

I read a study about that too! It focused on older men and seemed to show a reduced risk of prostate, colorectal, and breast cancers with the use of some weight loss drugs. More research is definitely needed, but it's promising!

    Inflammation and joint pain help?

Anyone have recommendations? My gout's acting up, and arthritis runs in the fam. What can I do for body inflammation and maybe some joint/cartilage support? I'm only on tirzepatide right now, and it's helped a little, but not enough.

    GLP-1 patent expiration?

I just started on Ozempic last week. I was kinda nervous about the price. I was pleasantly shocked it was $0, but the cash price was nearly $1300!! I really wonder how much it will cost when I increase my dose?

    Injections hurting more now?

I use an ice pack and numb the area before each injection, even though people say it doesn't hurt. I don't believe them. 😅

    Injections hurting more now?

Funny you say that, Riley03, I injected my first 7.5 mg into my thigh last night and that hurt like crazy 😂 My bf grabbed my butt when we were out shopping, and his hand fit the whole cheek this time LOL! Weight loss gains!

    Injections hurting more now?

Yes, Blair1992, I definitely feel the injections more now that I'm thinner. It's like there's less cushion there.

    Microdosing GLP-1s?

Exactly! I'm all about using the lowest dose that works. No need to go higher if you don't have to.

    Microdosing GLP-1s?

I started with 0.25 weekly for about 3 months, now I'm on 0.5 for 2 months. Started at 205, now 168. I am in no rush to increase. Maybe I will, but I doubt I'll ever need more than 1mg. And I also don't want to stop suddenly. 0.5 seems good, first couple days I struggle to eat anything, even...

    Finally Starting Tirzepatide!

I went with tirzepatide for similar reasons. A close friend with a medical background (RN) suggested it provided better control over food cravings. She had fantastic results, so I took her advice. So far, the results have been excellent for me. Best of luck as you start the process.

    Tirz and undigested food?!

I never had that, but I was only on it for 3 months. Now I'm using reta.
