Injections hurting more now?

Been taking my shots for almost 4 months now (still on 2.5mg). At first, I barely felt a thing, but lately, it's been more noticeable. Could be since I've been losing weight and don't have as much belly fat. Anyone else experiencing this? It's not the med going in that hurts, it's the actual needle poke. I switch sides each time, so maybe my skin is just getting more sensitive or it's all in my head. Just wondering if anyone else has the same issue?
 
I've lost almost 130 lbs now. I have spots where I don't feel anything and others where it stings quite a bit. My lower stomach, where my skin is loose and I have the most stretch marks, is totally painless for me.
 
I've been on Mounjaro for over a year, currently on 5mg after going down from 7.5mg. I always inject into my thigh and barely feel it at all. I also inject testosterone, which is a bit more painful because it's thicker and uses a larger needle. Wish there was a pen for that!
 
Luckily, I've never had any pain injecting...but I do take the pen out of the fridge about 15 minutes beforehand. Maybe that helps? 🤔
 
I was wondering the same thing, actually. For the first 6 or 7 months, I barely felt a thing. Now, all of a sudden, it hurts sometimes. I'm still injecting in the same spots on my stomach, so I'm guessing it's the fat loss.
 
I started 3 years ago and have always done my belly. I rarely feel the shot. I usually take it out of the fridge the night before. I've been at my goal weight since last May.
 
Has anyone else noticed that their arms feel tender? Not near where I inject, which is my abdomen, but my arms feel very sensitive just under the skin. Anyone experiencing this?
 
I saw someone post about accidentally doubling their dose because they lost track of how many clicks they did on the pen. I'd be so freaked out!
 
I'm terrified of needles, so I put off starting my injections for almost a year! I was taking the oral tablets and did okay, but eventually plateaued. Finally, I faced my fear and started the injections. Turns out, the needle is super tiny! It was still scary at first, but so worth it!
