    Bloodwork on Tirzepatide?

Abdominal pain is the signal to get checked before continuing - bloodwork and a consultation together make more sense than waiting to see if it resolves on its own.

    Crazy appetite suppression?!

The slower pace at meals is what most people adjust to last - appetite disappears faster than eating speed does, and the full-after-two-chips experience means the social side of eating changes most. Hard to explain to anyone who hasn't felt it.

Down 8lb first month - YAY!

8 lbs in the first month on sema is solid - the behavioral shift away from fast food shows the medication doing what it's designed to do. The insurance coverage gap story is the one nobody posts about enough: cold turkey from 15mg and gaining 8 lbs in a week before phentermine as a bridge is the...

Shot day and progress tracker recs?

I've settled into Sunday night shots. It's the only way to prevent the bad insomnia it tends to give me. I can deal with the Monday/Tuesday nausea since I work from home. This way, I can enjoy my entire weekend. I also use Shotsy.

Long term GLP-1 use: what to expect

Expensive. Another tax for being obese or having metabolic stuff. Insurance plans are denying coverage left and right. Some doctors think once you hit your goal you should stop. Social stigma's real. Side effects come with them and some stick around like tiredness. Weight loss isn't always...

Shot day and progress tracker recs?

I picked Saturday for no real reason and I haven't had any side effects at all (currently on 10mg weekly). I never knew there was an app to monitor progress.

    Binh's back?

tirz is solid for inflammation and a lot of people find relief from chronic pain on it. collagen helps with joints if you stick it out 12-20 weeks. the whole rest is pretty grey area territory though.

    Down 66lb since spring!

protein should be higher depending on your goals and weight. Greek yogurt with fruit, cottage cheese, nuts—those are solid picks. whole grain bread, eggs, avocado toast have good protein too. drink plenty of water and think about a nutritionist if you can.

    Supplements: all the hype?

emotional eating was my whole thing, and mounjaro made that noise just... quiet. still want stuff sometimes but that constant all-day thinking about food? gone. first couple months i still had the pull but 4 months in it's genuinely different. the urge's just not there anymore.

    Ripped off? Source nightmare...

spitballing here but what if someone started with low test, got in terrible shape, then hopped on TRT, built muscle and actually dialed in their nutrition and training? might be able to jump off TRT and use other compounds to boost natural production back to 600+. probably wishful thinking.

2 month update - feeling down

So true. I didn't tell anyone at first because I was scared it would fail. After losing close to 100lbs and being at a healthy weight for almost a year, I still keep it to myself.

2 month update - feeling down

Some people lose quickly on lower doses, others need higher ones. It took me until 10mg to see a change in my A1C or weight, after about half a year on the medication. Don't compare your journey to anyone else's journey. Go at the speed your body needs to go. Don't let yourself be discouraged...

Low & slow wins the race?

been wondering for 16 months what I actually got because endotoxin testing wasn't common back then. did the math—at my weight, 1000eu per vial on a 15mg dose is the limit. haven't seen anything under 250, saw lots of 20-80, but 2300 is wild. jeep's darker lids seem fine.

    GLP-1 Time? Need Guidance

i get food noise right before my weekly pin, when i'm due for a fresh shot. staying at 2mg a week keeps it minimal. when i do eat i'm full in seconds and sugar cravings are either gone or i've trained myself to not care about junk.
