    Battling the Nausea Rollercoaster

Week one nausea at 0.25mg tends to be the worst of it - the waking and post-meal pattern resolves over the next two to three weeks as the dose stabilizes. Small meals and avoiding high-fat foods alongside the ginger is the standard approach.

    Let’s talk tirzepatide side effects

The insurance-covers-both situation is a position a lot of people would envy. Tirzepatide edging out on side effects tracks with what most long-term users report.

    One Year of Mounjaro!

The depressive and anhedonia pattern showing up in the second year is worth more attention than it gets - Lexapro addressing it at that point is a real option, and the improvement timeline you're describing is typical for that combination.

    Raw onions & constipated... ugh!

With less eating and 7.5mg, why's your loss slow? Asking because I'm stuck at 10mg—no nausea but can only stomach two small meals. Why the slowdown on both ends?

Low & slow wins the race?

Switched to a different supplier and got 9 vials with way more in each than labeled. Dose was supposed to be 60 units from 3 vials every 4 weeks, but I'm actually on 7.5 and one batch lasted over 9 months.

How long does your Tirz last in the fridge?

Side effects I've dealt with: nausea, constipation (then diarrhea if I mess up), fatigue, heartburn starting out, hair loss, always cold, way less hungry, and sulfur burps. It's a mixed bag but the appetite part makes it worth it.

    Tirz Compounding Curtailed Soon?

Love the Luxura pen way more than my old one. Also chia seeds in water plus hot water beats other OTC stuff for constipation relief. works even after you've already gone. Don't broadcast my results except close friends/fam.

    Period cravings on GLP-1s?

I'm only on the lowest dose but still feel like I have to force myself to eat sometimes. So weird to be losing weight too fast. I'm thinking of spacing out my injections like ReceptorQueen suggested. It's good to know I'm not the only one

    First week - Feeling hopeful!

I'm grateful for the help this medication provides, but I'm also finding that a lot of foods don't taste good anymore. They're either too salty, or the texture is off. I often can't eat, and I end up throwing food away which I hate. I usually end up having a protein shake to get my protein...

    Hit my goal dress size!

That's amazing progress, FlannelGuy313! I've been taking the injections for about 2 years now. Started around 375 lbs and am now around 166 lbs. It fluctuates a bit, but I'm feeling great and wearing a size 8/10 after being a 28/30!
