    Ozempic and energy levels?

Energy variance by week is more rule than exception - protein and sleep track closely with which days hit different.

    Almost there! Last 20...

Apple-shape fat distribution tends to be both last to leave and first to return - the last 20 pounds often include that stubborn central fat that shifts the longest.

Upped to 1.7... side effects 😫

The slightly worse side effect window the following week after an early injection is a real pattern - the shorter interval means the receptor load is higher at the start of that cycle. It normalizes once you're back on the regular schedule.

Brain space: What DO you even THINK about?

I agree with ProteinQueen_90, regulating your nervous system is key. I dropped like 170 pounds on Ozempic/Mounjaro. The best part is what it did for my mind. It's such a relief to not be constantly thinking about food. I've become so much more spiritual.

Brain space: What DO you even THINK about?

The lighthouse idea is spot on, and honestly, you're ahead of the game in understanding what's up. The mental energy you spent on food wasn't really about food. It was just where your brain went by default. Planning meals, deciding what to eat, wondering if you're hungry – that's a lot of brain...

    Diet Soda While on Ozempic?

I've been finding that healthy foods just don't appeal to me as much anymore. Pre-oz, I was all about salads and veggies, but now I'd rather have some popcorn. Glad I'm not alone!

    Diet Soda While on Ozempic?

I don't think I could live without soda. I drink sugar-free versions of everything and even use a soda stream to make my own. Still losing weight, so no issues for me!

    Pic popped up - wow!

Thanks everyone! Checkup, I'm aiming for around 150. It seems like a good healthy weight for my height. I'm curious, did you notice the change more in pictures than in the mirror?

    Pic popped up - wow!

I just had a memory pop up on my phone from last year. It's wild seeing the difference between then, at around 290, and now at 215. I still want to lose another 50 or so, but the progress in just one year is amazing!

    Pen looks a little full...normal?

I was literally about to ask the exact same thing! I tried to give myself another 0.5 dose last night, and the pen wouldn't click to that amount. It wouldn’t even click to .25. But I could see liquid in the pen. I refilled my Rx this morning. Should I just continue with the same dose when I...

    Pen looks a little full...normal?

If you can still dial it, there's something left to use.

    Almost to "Overweight"! 🎉

Imagine how much easier it would be to choose the right treatment if they could! I'm just glad this worked for me since I have PCOS, which can make weight management super tough.

    Almost to "Overweight"! 🎉

Good job! I like to joke that I'm just "kinda chubby" now, lol.

    Almost to "Overweight"! 🎉

Starting BMI vs current! I know it's just a number, but still... I'm more than halfway to my goal in about 4 months, down almost 35lbs! That's like 17% of my body weight gone. Just started my second week on 10mg. Started at 200lbs, now at 165lbs, aiming for 137lbs. Originally, I thought 147lbs...

Type 1 Diabetes Gone with Ozempic?!

I've heard some people use glycine as a sweetener. Has anyone tried this? I saw someone mention it helps blood sugar.

Type 1 Diabetes Gone with Ozempic?!

Yeah, I'm always skeptical of headlines like that. "Could eliminate" is very different from "does eliminate." I'd want to see a LOT more research before getting my hopes up, especially since Type 1 and Type 2 are so different.
