Almost to "Overweight"! 🎉

Starting BMI vs current! I know it's just a number, but still... I'm more than halfway to my goal in about 4 months, down almost 35lbs! That's like 17% of my body weight gone. Just started my second week on 10mg.

Started at 200lbs, now at 165lbs, aiming for 137lbs. Originally, I thought 147lbs was my limit, but this med has blown me away. Hoping to see a 'healthy' BMI for the first time in my adult life. I have insulin-resistant PCOS.

This stuff is truly life-changing. Haven't had any real bad side effects in 4 months, though I've noticed a bit more anxiety (blaming life stuff for that). I decided this year was about getting my act together and investing in myself, and trying this med was part of that. I recently lost my job, which sucks, but knowing I have something that's actually helping me with my weight feels like a huge win!! Just trying to stay positive, consistent, and easy on myself.

Love to hear it! It's kinda funny how excited we get to just be 'overweight' lol. Lost 60lbs and still in the obese category 2. Hoping to be overweight by Xmas!

Hit normal weight this morning for the first time since 2018. Still could drop a few more lbs, but it feels amazing. My A1c is also below 'pre-diabetic' levels for the first time since 1997. Still on the full 15 dose, might need to rethink that later. This helps a lot, but I'm also on a super strict eating plan and doing the Planet Fitness 30-minute circuit 3 times a week now.

Awesome!!!! My BMI went from 41 to 37 in just under 3 months, still a ways to go, but your post gives me hope :) FELICIDADES! CONGRATS!

Good job! I like to joke that I'm just "kinda chubby" now, lol.

My doctor told me three months back that I went from Obese to Overweight and I literally hugged him, that's how excited I was!

Saw a study about how some folks respond way better to GLP-1s than others. Apparently, there's a gene called NBEA that might play a role. It's all about how the medication interacts with your body's receptors. Interesting stuff!

Wow, Drew14 that's fascinating! So, some of us are just genetically predisposed to lose more weight on these meds? I wonder if they'll be able to test for that gene someday before prescribing.

Imagine how much easier it would be to choose the right treatment if they could! I'm just glad this worked for me since I have PCOS, which can make weight management super tough.

Congrats to everyone hitting milestones! I started my journey in October and hit my 50lb goal recently.

I started cleaning up my diet before my first injection, and lost like six pounds. Been walking regularly too, that has helped a lot when I felt like I was stalling. Stick with it, everyone!
