1 Week Down on the Injections!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
First week clean is a good sign. The starter dose is calibrated to ease in - if tolerance holds here, the escalation window is usually smooth.

Day 2 is usually when the GI effects are most noticeable for most people, which makes it the most useful observation window - by day 3 or 4 the stomach settles back down and you get a clearer baseline.

9 lbs down in week one is a strong start - keeping expectations calibrated for the slower weeks that follow is what makes the long run work.

First week numbers include a lot of water and glycogen shift - the sustained pace shows up better around week 4.

Thigh injections reducing GI side effects is one of those things that works for enough people to be worth trying - the landing site seems to affect absorption rate in some cases. If abdomen is giving you trouble, alternating or switching fully to thigh for a few weeks is a low-risk experiment.

Week 3 and already in the 16x range after starting somewhere higher - that's an early response that shows it's working. One week in with nothing bad to report is the best possible start. The weeks ahead tend to tell you more. How's the appetite side been?

0.2kg in week 2 is actually not unusual - the scale often doesn't move for several weeks while the medication is still adjusting appetite and fluid levels. kinda freaked out too the first week when nothing happened right away. the full effect typically builds over the first 4-6 weeks rather than appearing on dose 1. keep consistent and give it time.

the 4-day stretch of feeling rough after the first .25mg and then the second shot feeling like nothing is actually the typical pattern - the first dose hits harder than subsequent ones at the same level. the electrolyte prep going into the second one probably helped. how's the appetite piece? that usually shows up a bit quieter than you'd expect even at the starter dose.

0.25 as the starter dose designed specifically to be tolerable is worth knowing going in. The 'kinda off not knocked out' description is accurate for the vast majority of people at that level. Week 2 is usually where you start to get a clearer signal on how your individual response is shaping up. What are you noticing so far?

I get noticeably wiped out the day or two following my injection, which is why I do it Friday nights. Definitely plan to sleep in more during those days. Also deal with mild nausea, nothing severe though.

Honestly hard to judge whether it's worthwhile without pairing it with real effort of your own. Picture watching your meals more closely and actually seeing results on the scale, would the tradeoffs feel justified then? If the answer's yes, commit to that for thirty days and reassess afterward. If the reactions still feel unmanageable regardless, this particular medication might not be a fit for your body.

For me personally, the side effects have absolutely been worth the 40 pounds gone since starting in February. Only just moved to the next dose tier a couple weeks back, so most of what I've lost happened at the earlier, lower amounts.

How exactly did the dose get lowered? Figured an auto-injector was in use here? Really solid results though! Week six here, just pinned a 3mg amount. Would love to stay on the lower end to dodge side effects, but the weight loss goal matters too! Glad this approach is working out so well.
