Down from 244 to 141... yep, that's me! Just wanted to share. What a difference a year makes.
I don't get stressed about my wardrobe before I leave the house anymore, because now everything I own fits well, and I feel good in it. I used to feel like I needed tons of makeup to leave the house, but now I'm good without it.
It's funny how getting rid of those extra pounds really boosted my self-esteem and worth. It's like I unlocked a new superpower of being in public and not thinking everyone is judging me.
I spent so long trying to make up for the anxiety of being overweight. I missed out on a lot and stayed in the background because I was scared of what people thought. Maybe it's good it took me this long to get here, because being the 'big guy' taught me to be kinder.
My advice isn't about the meds, it's about recording your progress. Jump in the pics when somebody's taking one. You'll love having them later to see how far you've come... and because you were actually there, living your life.
Don't let the fear of being overweight hold you back.
From someone who's been all-in on this for a year: take those selfies and let people take your picture. Especially early on, it's great to look back at your progress.
