So, I hit my highest weight ever after getting married, the happy weight is real! I'm a wedding and event DJ, so I'm constantly being photographed, and I started to panic when I saw myself tagged in photos. I joined a telehealth program and started on a GLP-1 med, and it's really changed things. I've always had a terrible relationship with food – binge eating, emotional eating, all that. Plus, my job involves a lot of driving and late nights. I was a regular at fast food places. I've totally revamped my eating habits and set new limits with food. This is the longest I've ever stuck to something, and I'm so proud!

Wow, what a huge difference! Your clothes fit so much better now! I bet you're looking forward to swimsuit season! (I sure am!)

Big changes in those photos! I totally get what you mean about dreading seeing candid shots. I bet you'll be feeling a lot better about photos from now on! I'm looking forward to that too 😊

I need to refill my prescription. I'm so excited to start my weight loss journey again! :)))

Gimme_the_Jab You look great, very inspiring. How would you describe the effect on your eating? Does it just kill your appetite? Are you exercising, or just eating less? I'm trying to decide if it's worth the money, or could I just fast and get the same results? Or does it help curb cravings and binge eating?

Cool! I bet your stats are close to mine but a little lower at the start and current weight. I also started about 12 weeks ago and I've lost 22 lbs. Started at 249, now 227. I'm also aiming for under 200, but I don't want to be disappointed so I haven't set a firm goal date. Congrats! Looking forward to following your journey.

It definitely helps with the cravings and binge eating. I've been trying to walk more, but the biggest thing is the medication has helped me make better choices and not overeat. It quiets the food noise, you know?

Two weeks in and I've already noticed a difference in my face! The scale hasn't changed much, but I can see the inflammation is going down.
Interesting. I wonder if the medication affects how your body holds water at first, before actual fat loss?

paleo valley bone broth protein and perfect aminos - both clean, zero sugar, work with keto. testing glucose and ketone levels with these and they work well for me, taste better than whey powders.

12 weeks on a GLP-1 after years of binge eating is one of the harder backgrounds to start from - the medication removes the physical pull but the behavioral patterns take longer to retrain. The 12-week mark usually underestimates where 6 months lands.
