180 gone--woot!

I started this journey at 687, and I'm now hovering around 506ish. That's close to 180 gone in maybe 10 months? Time flies when you're shrinking!

I've had my moments of weakness, and the holidays hit me hard. But seeing that number change in my app? Wow. It shows how far I've come. I've still got a long way to go, but at least I'm not lugging around a refrigerator on my back anymore!

I really appreciate all the support and advice from everyone here. Seriously, thank you.

That's fantastic! Seriously, congrats on all the effort paying off!

Besides all the benefits we know about, every pound of weight lost lowers your chances of getting a bunch of chronic illnesses, even some cancers. Plus, each pound is like taking 4 pounds of pressure off your knees. So, that's 720 pounds less pressure. Keep going!

That's wild! 180lbs is like a whole extra person is gone. I only lost about 80lbs, and sometimes I grab two 40lb weights to get a feel for it. I bet some folks can't even lift 180lbs. Amazing work.

That's amazing! The washing machine comparison is spot on and shows just how much you've accomplished. I wish you all the best on your journey to better health!

That's seriously impressive! Congrats! Losing 81kg in 10 months is about 5.3kg a week! (304 days in 10 months / 81kg, then x 7)

It looks like people who start over 300lbs lose weight quicker. I started at 215lbs, and I've only lost 2.1lb in 3 weeks on 2.5mg. I've heard of people dropping 9lb in the first week. I might need to increase my dose soon. I'm a little worried about stalling/gaining weight on week 4.

Also, every 1lb lost takes 4lb of pressure off your knees! I saw it here, then looked it up to make sure. There was a study on adults with osteoarthritis.

You've taken off the weight of a piano (720lb) off your knees!

I agree, it's probably best to hold off on buying too many new clothes. I bought new jeans a month ago, and they're already too big! Leggings might be the way to go until you're closer to your goal weight.
