180 gone--woot!

Ah, A1C_Survivor, it's not just willpower! Insulin resistance definitely plays a big role in that food noise. It's good you're aware of it. Keep at it, and talk to your doc about strategies to manage that resistance.

not on the split camp yet but been dosing every 6 days. eating at 2.5-3lb/wk deficit but day 5-6 i'd slip to 1lb/wk. just did my first 4mg yesterday, probably 2mg Friday or Saturday to start splitting.

Got diarrhea and vomiting twice - at 2.5 and 7.5 - and the vomiting seemed tied to sulphur burps. Once more at 10mg. I think it was the food: pie the night of my first shot, two drinks when I got cocky another time, and pizza once. Now I keep meals small and graze instead.

mid-40s F here. did mounjaro at 5mg for a month, moved to 7.5 a month later, 10 by month three. that's when the bleeding started—gushing, ER visits, blood transfusions. they never figured out why. stopped the med and bleeding stopped completely. never listed as a side effect but something definitely connected.

super happy health canada approved two generics. i used one earlier this year but had to stop - new pharmacist wouldn't dispense the 4mg pen like the other one did at the same pharmacy, something about costs. that really hurt the wallet. hope the 1mg generic makes it more doable cost-wise now.
