Welcome to the semaglutide community! Just a quick reminder of the rules: No discussions about non-approved semaglutide versions, and definitely no buying or selling meds here or through private messages. If someone offers you something via PM, it's not endorsed by us, so steer clear. And if you're new, check out our FAQ for some helpful info. Happy chatting!

For any slow losers out there, don't get discouraged! I'm 54, started at about 195 lbs and now I'm around 135 after almost 2 years. It's a marathon, not a sprint!

Thanks for sharing that! I'm seeing progress, but only about a pound each week. It's hard not to compare myself to others, but it's good to remember that slow and steady wins the race.

If the nausea is severe, Sub-Q_Sammy, talk to your doctor. There are medications that can help manage that while you adjust. Staying hydrated and eating smaller, more frequent meals can also make a difference.

Wow, congrats to anyone losing weight, no matter how fast! Someone I know who was at their highest weight around 575 pounds in late 2023, started a similar medication in January 2024. They've been consistently losing weight since July of 2024, and now they are down to around 360! It's all about the journey!
