40s and feeeelin' fine!

Maintenance dosing lower than the loss dose is the right approach once goal weight is reached - the question is finding the minimum effective dose for stability rather than staying at maximum. Holding a 30% loss after T2DM resolution on 5mg is a strong case for the tiered dosing approach.

Thank you, wish 7.5 were my ceiling honestly lol. My blood sugar's out of diabetic territory now, but I'm nervous that maxing out at 15 without further movement might push my doctor toward switching me to something else, and I've watched too many friends deal with rough reactions on other options. Mounjaro just feels like the right fit for me. Going to give lifting a shot, maybe throw in some extra cardio too since walking alone hasn't been enough. Appreciate the encouragement on the 50-plus pounds, I'd originally hoped for a full 100 lb loss, but might need to accept where I'm at and shift focus toward toning instead. Did drop four clothing sizes already, so firming up would help round things out. Thanks for taking the time to respond, really value the advice. Congrats again to you too!

Pretty similar path here, minus the age gap. Guy, 33, 5'11. Began at 208, now down to 153.

Got prescribed Mounjaro because of type 2 diabetes, though shedding weight was equally urgent since the two were connected. Diabetes is well managed these days, thankfully (went from a 14.3 A1C down to 5.0).

Began at 2.5mg and I'm still sitting there. Bumped to 5.0 for a single week but the side effects were rough enough that my provider had me drop back to 2.5. Aside from occasional mild constipation, nothing else bothers me. That 2.5 dose has kept my weight level for half a year straight now
