5 months in and feeling GREAT!

Wow, can't believe it's been just over four months and I feel like a new person! The difference is incredible.

My doctor wants to bump me up to 5mg, which I think is a good idea because the food cravings are creeping back in and I'm actually feeling hungry on the 2.5mg dose now.

Congrats on the progress! It's an amazing feeling.

I'm still on 2.5mg, started back in September. I'm getting some food noise, but I'm kinda happy about it? It's a chance to really work on my habits before increasing the dose.
Plus, when I feel hungry, I just drink some water, and it usually goes away. I'm trying to learn better habits.

Now that I'm eating a little more, I'm hitting the gym more. Trying to make exercise a daily thing. I feel the need to exercise every day. It's become a habit, and I enjoy it!

Awesome! I'm also on month 5! I just finished my first dose of 7.5mg. I say go up! I lost a bunch on 5mg and felt fantastic. No food noise, no hunger.

I was on a different GLP-1 before, so maybe that's why the higher doses are working so well. But 5mg and 7.5mg have been total game changers!

Congratulations on feeling so much better! I'm starting on Wegovy, but I'm looking forward to Mounjaro potentially becoming available soon, too!

I've never used Wegovy myself, but I've heard some people have side effects. I can't say for sure since I haven't tried it. But I was on Zepbound before Mounjaro, and Mounjaro has been a game-changer. I really love it!

Five months and already feeling like a completely different person is incredible! That transformation happens faster than most expect when the medication is really working for you. Keep going, and don't overthink the dose bumps when your doctor suggests them - they often unlock the next level. The progress from here just builds on itself.

I'm only in my second week, and I'm supposed to inject 0.22 ml (22 units). Then next month, it jumps to 0.44ml (44 units). Does that seem like a big jump to anyone else? I'm a bit nervous about it.

The binge eating relief is one of the more significant functional changes - the medication removes the compulsive override that made the binge cycle feel unavoidable. Relearning how to eat while the suppression holds is what builds the maintenance path. The powerlessness-to-food framing is exactly what the receptor-level mechanism addresses.

Whoa, that does sound like a lot! I started at 8 units for the first six weeks. Maybe check with your provider?

Definitely double-check those instructions. Units can be confusing depending on how the medication is measured.

So many people say they wish they'd stuck with the lower dose longer! I'm on week 5, and I'm not sure if I should move up. I've only lost like, one pound in the last three weeks. Should I just stay at 0.25? Maybe eventually, it'll kick in?
