50lbs down - slow and steady!

I'm celebrating hitting my first milestone: losing 50 pounds in about 10 and a half months! Officially made it to Onederland. I know some folks get bummed if they aren't shedding weight super fast, but I wanted to point out that even a pound or so a week is still a healthy pace for many of us.

Good for you! I'm also on the slow and steady plan (although I wobbled a bit over the holidays and some family stuff). I'm down 25lb in about 5 months. Time keeps ticking, and we'll all get there eventually.

Could you share what your dosage schedule looked like? Everyone's different, but I'm planning on a slow approach too! And congratulations on your success!

Nice! My starting point was about the same as yours - I'm thinking about trying a GLP-1 but I'm a little nervous too.

I saw someone on another site say they dropped about 55 pounds and that keeps me motivated. Seeing success stories really helps with sticking to it!

50 lbs is a HUGE accomplishment! Slow and steady definitely wins out. I hope I have the same results you've had!
Exactly. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon, right? Plus, slower loss is usually easier on the body. Less loose skin, etc.

Sure! I went up by 0.25mg every month or so until I hit 1mg. I've been holding steady there and so far so good!
