7+ months in - slow but steady!

Just hit the 7.5-month mark and I'm down 38 pounds. It's been a consistent pound-a-week journey. I've had moments where I questioned if it's worth the expense, seeing others shed weight quicker. But gotta remember, everyone's different, and a pound a week is considered a sustainable rate. It felt great to compare a photo from week one to today; a real visual reminder!

I'm in the same boat! About a pound each week. I've lost around 30, and nobody seems to notice. Some friends dropped twice as much in the same time. Some are just more sensitive to it. Others might be cutting calories too drastically and losing muscle. Not what I want at all. It's worth the cost for me because it quiets the constant mental chatter about food. I've been heavy since childhood and tried every diet imaginable. I could never lose weight without obsessing over every single thing I ate (or didn't eat). It was exhausting.

Awesome!
You look wonderful!
How are you feeling?

I'm only 3 months in, and I'm not confident my scale works, lol.
Seems like I'm maybe 15-20 pounds lighter.
I try to avoid weighing myself too often because the numbers get frustrating.
My jeans fit better. That's positive.

I've been thinking about trying semaglutide again. I'm 5'0 and at 165, it's not a good space to be in. I'm pre-diabetic and that's scary. It took me two months to get a referral to a specialist last time.
