7 week journey checkin!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Week 7 and 5 lbs is tough when you see the OP at 28. 5 lbs is still real and the dose is still building at week 7. What dose are you on and has anything changed with appetite compared to the first couple of weeks?

Week 4 at 2 lbs is not a failure - it's the adjustment window where the medication is still settling in. Most of the big early drops from other people's stories are water weight in the first couple of weeks. The actual fat loss trajectory shows up later. Give it more time at the current dose before drawing any conclusions.

The food noise going quiet so fast in week 2 is a really encouraging early signal. Protein intake early on matters more than most people expect - the medication drops appetite so much that getting adequate protein without tracking it can be harder than it sounds. You're clearly on a good trajectory at 7 weeks.

Congrats!! Three weeks into my own journey and honestly looking forward to those non-scale wins you mentioned. Keep going!

Same exact thing happened with me! Five weeks in on .25 and already 20 pounds lighter. Such a good feeling once you realize you're actually satisfied, just genuinely full.

About seven weeks into this and tracking food more closely than ever honestly. Being an athlete training multiple times weekly means fueling that properly matters, especially protein and carbs. Genuinely struggling to eat enough some days.

Funny shift though, used to actively steer clear of high-cal foods and now there's almost a 'ooh, that'll help hit numbers' reaction to junk food. Probably not the ideal strategy long-term.

Right there with you, this is making me lose it. Just checked and I weigh exactly the same today as back on May 4th, unbelievable. Feels like I've been losing and regaining the same five pounds for seven straight weeks now. Definitely staying hydrated too, drinking plenty and everything checks out fine there.

Probably should quit the daily weigh-ins, that might be messing with my head more than anything, but I like tracking the numbers since it holds me accountable to logging calories.

100%. Expect both good stretches and rough patches, but honestly the whole ride's been worth it! Down 46 pounds across 13 weeks! I'd rather deal with feeling a bit off and drained temporarily than stay exhausted and unwell every single day for decades to come by staying morbidly obese. You've got this!!

Only week three, you're doing just fine! Response varies a ton, some people don't notice anything until 7.5! Knew someone who felt nothing until reaching 10. Just keep at it, you've got this.
