Just wanted to share a quick update - it's amazing to see the difference 8 months can make!

When I started Mounjaro, I was really hoping to be able to take back control of my life and feel good about myself again. Now, almost a year later, I've shed around 86 pounds!

Started at 266lbs
Now at 180lbs

I never imagined Mounjaro would be such a game-changer and help me get healthier. I'm incredibly proud of how far I've come. I'm getting close to my target weight, but the progress has slowed down a bit. I know these last few pounds will be the toughest, but I'm determined!

Also huge thanks to the team at rightangled for their support and believing in me!

Looking at the photos, is one of them mirrored? The tattoo appears on opposite ankles in each image. There's no mirror visible, so it's a bit confusing.

Regardless, congratulations on the weight loss! Amazing transformation.

Losing 86 pounds is an incredible accomplishment! I've lost 34 pounds so far and am aiming for another 45. Your progress is so encouraging and gives me hope.

I'm just starting on MJ and am really worried about excess skin, may I ask what you did to prevent it?

I’ve been focusing on strength training while losing weight. It seems to be helping! Also, staying super hydrated is important for skin elasticity.

Responding to a few Qs:

[@HeartSquad] It's still a bit surreal! Sometimes I catch myself in the mirror and still don't quite recognize myself. It's an amazing feeling though.

[@Ratched77] Good eye! I think one of the pics might be flipped. I didn't even notice! Haha.

Seeing everyone's success stories is so motivating! I'm aiming to drop another 10-15 pounds before summer. I've been trying to eat cleaner by cutting back on processed foods and increasing my protein intake.

Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely prioritize weight lifting and chugging water!
