I'm 39, 5'1", and started this journey at 174. Now I'm hovering around 118! Rocking a size 2 now, used to be a 14. I'm on sema, fasting on and off, ditched alcoholic drinks along with gluten and milk, and exercise 4 times a week. Graves' put me into hypo after the treatment a couple years back... weight loss was a monster and my body didn't respond to insulin well.

You seem like a totally different person, like your own daughter! Congrats! I bet you feel fantastic!

Thanks for sharing! I'm just starting out. Did you have any trouble cutting out gluten? That's gonna be hard for me!

It was tough at first, Bee_Loss, but after a while, I stopped craving it. There are tons of gluten-free alternatives now, which helps a lot!

Inspired by your journey! I remember struggling to even walk without getting winded. Now, I can stand for an hour without even breaking a sweat! It's a huge NSV!

I've been on both. One year on this one up to 10mg, currently five months on the other at 1.7mg. No side effects worth mentioning from either. The first one gave more weight loss but the second has stronger appetite control, so I'm still losing steady.

49, perimenopause, crossfit 4-5 times a week and still gaining after the post-covid stress and relationship change is such a specific and real combination. The stress and hormonal shift together can completely override what used to work. 174 to 118 in the OP is remarkable - what dose has worked for you?
