A year on GLP-1s!

I didn't take proper 'before' photos, but someone here suggested taking them after losing 25lbs or so. Best idea ever! Can actually track the progress. Never thought I'd get this far in a year. Almost at my goal weight for skin removal and lipo for the lipoedema. Not sure on the exact number, maybe 5-10lbs more before maintenance before surgery. Meeting the surgeon on the 10th to discuss it all. So excited! And I'm actually seeing the change. Thought I never would. Just wanted to share.

Thanks for posting! Just a reminder: no discussion of non-approved meds, and no selling anything. Don't respond to private messages offering meds, they aren't endorsed here. Newbies, check out the FAQ. This is just to help, not to discourage you.

Congrats!!! If you don’t mind sharing… How did you lose so much? I've been on OZ for a year at 2mg, but not much change. Feeling bummed…

I'm not sure. I just tried real hard to stick to it. I changed my diet, ate more protein and less junk. I walk a lot too. Nothing special really. Don't give up!

I saw someone else say they're almost at their goal weight getting Canadian meds. Anyone else tried that? Just curious...

I love seeing these success stories! I'm down about 40lbs on a GLP-1 after about 9 months. Still got like 30 to go, but I'm swimming now and just generally feel healthier. Slow and steady wins the race!
