I'm a 52 y/o female, 5'4".

Starting weight was 235 lbs
Current weight: 159 lbs
Goal weight: 145-150 lbs

I'm so thrilled! Even with the extra skin and my butt kinda disappearing lol. I'm on 2mg currently, and things are definitely slowing down as I get closer to my goal. No special eating plan, and not much exercise.

Edit: I also had my gallbladder removed... the surgeon mentioned it's common with rapid weight loss.

Amazing! I just got a prescription that lasts for a year. My dosage is pretty low, only 0.25mg. If I can keep getting refills, I'll probably increase it to 0.5mg.

My doc put me on it because I was at risk for type 2 diabetes, and that comes with too many heart risks. I'm glad he did. My A1C is almost where it should be. I'm getting more bloodwork done soon to see where my A1C and CBC are. The good effects just keep happening.

My balance is getting back to normal. It's not so far in front of me, past my stomach anymore. I can lie on my back without feeling suffocated. It was a total metabolic disaster before, and I'm taking control!

Congrats! I just ordered my prescription from a pharmacy in Canada because I can't afford my current medication anymore, and my insurance doesn't cover it. I'm excited to see how it goes. I'm only about 15lbs from my goal, and then I'll need a plan to maintain it. I hope I don't have many side effects, as I barely had any on my previous med besides a suppressed appetite.

Congratulations! I'm curious about your gallbladder issues. Did you have any symptoms before it was removed, or was it sudden?

I'm hoping to get down to a Large in leggings one day. I was a 2 or 3XL before starting this journey, and those were tight! Now I'm wearing an XL shirt and Large leggings. My old jeans (size 16/18) are way too big for me now.

That's amazing progress! Congrats on the new smaller sizes!

I'm down approximately 100lbs! Before Mounjaro, I lost 55lbs. I have dropped from a 3XL in maternity leggings to an XL in regular leggings which are comfy and not too tight. My starting weight was 347lbs, and now I'm at around 244lbs. It's been quite the journey!

My experience mirrors yours. Med switch and this med revealed how much prior medication was triggering starvation mode. Congrats getting there, can't wait joining your success numbers!

Similar journey here. Started for blood sugar but always fought weight. Did Weight Watchers, lost some, fell off, regained. Didn't grasp how intense food thoughts were till now. Everyone obsesses about meals? The hunger never stopped till now. Still see my old self though clothes are massive now. Heaviest 220, usually 200 (5'1). Now 116, size 4. Doesn't feel real. Been on .5 over a year.
