Almost at my goal weight!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
230 to 165 on keto and then the 'probably another 30 from there' never materializing until now is such a common experience. 5'7" and female at 130 is a real lower bound to think carefully about - body composition matters more than the number at that point. The 135 floor the OP is approaching is worth evaluating with how things actually look and feel.

You're so welcome! Been stuck above the 50-pound mark for weeks on end, currently at 12.5. Your story's genuinely motivating, my target's also 130, so 45 lbs left for me too.
Here's hoping we both make it!

As a 39-year-old woman, genuinely curious what everyone's calling their 'goal weight' and what's behind picking that particular figure??
Is it purely the digits themselves?
A pants size you've always dreamed of wearing??
Some other specific milestone you're chasing??
I ask because someone put this exact question to me recently and I honestly didn't have an answer. What's mine? No clue. Just want to look and feel better overall. Shed roughly 170lbs over the course of a decade. Long journey, but still haven't figured out what would actually make me feel done! Curious to hear what everyone else says!!!
Starting: 306
Current: 135

Same height as you, currently sitting around 137, and honestly you look like exactly what I picture my own goal weight looking like. Don't put too much stock in that number on the scale.

Genuinely, you look great as is.

My own target sits closer to 125 since chronic illness has left me with lower muscle mass than average, and roughly a dozen pounds is my rough estimate of remaining fat to lose, working it out by measuring my body fat against a common everyday reference weight. Bodies vary enormously, and muscle simply outweighs fat.
