Almost at my goal!

After six months with semaglutide, I'm just about 5 pounds from my initial target weight! I'm thinking of aiming for another 5 pounds less and then trying to maintain. Don't give up, everyone! It takes some time, but it's so worth it. I'm 5'2.75" tall, started at 176, and now I'm down to 146. Please be kind; it's tough to put myself out there.

You look amazing! Did you change your diet and/or add exercise?
I did! I cut way back on sweets and try to walk at least 30 minutes a day. Nothing too crazy!

I'm so inspired by seeing everyone's progress! I'm a slow loser, but I'm trying to stay positive. It's hard when you see people losing like crazy fast. Thanks for the reminder that

Agreed, ScaleVictory! Slow and steady wins the race. I've been at this for almost a year and I'm just about 55 pounds down. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon! Don't get discouraged by the 'super responders.'

That's amazing Metabolic_Mandy! I am also a slow and steady type. It is hard to watch others have faster results, but I am trying to focus on good habits that I can maintain for the long term.

6 months at 1mg and 16kg down is a strong responder result at a conservative dose ceiling. The goal-post reset after reaching 20kg is the right move - most people find the original target was calibrated when the outcome felt uncertain, and the new one captures where the biology can actually take you.
