Almost there! Body contouring, here I come!

I've burned through most of the extra baggage, and the doc visit is done. This is such an emotional time for me. I'm getting an arm tuck, then a lower body lift. I'm over wearing sweaters in summer, and stockings on dates, never being able to rock my bare flesh. This feels nuts at almost 44 years old. I almost fainted when I paid the surgeon. Just a dozen more lbs, it’s nothing for someone my height, 5'11. I CAN DO THIS!

You look fantastic! Congrats! Had to ask about the lipstick in the last pic – what brand is it? It's amazing! 😍

I’m thinking about brachioplasty, or maybe a full body lift, I can only budget for one right now and I haven't locked it in, fingers crossed for you!!

You're too kind!!! :D Good luck to you as well! I've disliked my arms forever, and I'm 40-something now, seriously considering an arm situation. I still have around 10kg to lose too.

You look amazeballs! But I’m curious: I've looked into an arm lift and been told it’s best to chill until your weight has been stable for at least half a year minimum, and preferably a year, before getting work done. Were you told something different?

Thanks everyone for the support! @Witty-IMO, yeah, my surgeon wants me within a pretty tight range, but not necessarily rock solid for a year. Maybe it's just their technique, or that I'm not going for a crazy dramatic change? I'll definitely keep everyone posted!

For those dealing with skin rubbing issues after weight loss, especially in those hard-to-reach spots, try a diaper rash cream with zinc. Desitin Maximum Strength or Badger Balm work great. But definitely chat with your doc too! From personal experience, it's essential to keep it clean and dry to prevent problems.

I'm curious, @Robin18, have you considered any non-surgical options for skin tightening, especially for your arms? I saw someone mention lifting heavier weights to tone up after losing weight. It's been a struggle for me to get my arms where I want them after dropping some pounds.

Just jumping in here - I am a nurse. To anyone dealing with raw irritated skin due to skin folds, go to the pharmacy and get silicone foam dressing. Keep the area clean and dry before placing the dressing and change it as often as needed. If it gets worse see your doctor ASAP! Pressure sores are no joke!

I'd love to see the before and after body composition numbers, especially because I'm willing to bet the IGF-1 part of this is helping protect muscle while fat comes off.
