Almost there! Last 20...

Pic one: 60 lbs gone. Pic two: 30 lbs shed. Pic three: today! At my age (60), never thought I'd see a weight lower than after my first kiddo at 22. I can actually see my clavicle! Keeping my fingers crossed I can reach the last 20 lbs and get my A1c in check (down to 6.1 from 8+). Might hinge on whether this discount keeps going after December since my insurance says no to MJ and Zep.

I've never been at a normal weight my whole life. Finally hit 155, which was my number for years - at 5'6 that should've been it. But honestly I still feel big, still wearing large and 12-14 sizes. Now I'm thinking I need to get into the mid 130s to actually feel the way I thought this weight would feel.

I'm right there with you! 58yoM, over 65 lbs down and another 15-20 to go. Feels like these final ones are taking forever! But look how far we've come! Congrats!!

I'm so happy for you!! I'm in the same boat. 60 years old, and have been overweight for as long as I can recall...I'm reliving memories of 'the protein shake diet' back in '78 when I was like 13 years old, lol. About 60 lbs gone and 25 more to lose.

Thanks everyone for all the great comments! It's been a long road, but so worth it. I feel like I've got so much more energy. I've still got a long way to go, but I'm super happy with the progress so far.

For those of you still on your journey I wanted to share some tips that have worked for me: Prioritize protein, stay hydrated, and get plenty of sleep. Consistency is key!
