Almost there! My experience so far

I'm so grateful for the progress I've made. I've struggled with my weight and self-image since elementary school. I've always felt ashamed of what I ate and how I looked. I'm still working on it, but this medication has really turned things around for me. I'm changing in ways I never thought were possible.

You look amazing, and I know how much dedication it takes. Congratulations! Would you mind sharing some details about your process and how long it took? My weight loss is super slow, and I'm dealing with some troublesome side effects. Just wondering how it's been for you.

You look fantastic! I can relate to your early struggles. I was also around 8 years old when I first became aware of my weight and started dieting.

Congrats on your success!

Amazing progress!

I have some questions:

1. Is that really the same person in both pictures?

2. What's the timeline? Are we talking a year apart? More?

3. How has your diet changed?

4. Did you add any new activities or sports?

5. Tell us more! What has surprised you most about your new diet? How has your life changed? What's it like being thinner?

Getting closer to your goal must feel fantastic. The change in your photos is clear, and you sound much more confident. Would you mind if I shared this on the community? It's a subreddit where people post their before-and-after pics and updates using GLP1s. Your progress could really inspire others. Of course, you can post it yourself if you'd prefer.

Thanks everyone! I'll try to address some of your questions. It's been a journey. I started noticing a real shift in my thinking -- less obsessing about 'good' and 'bad' foods. It's like, the constant chatter in my brain finally quieted down.

That's what I'm hoping for!

I'm so tired of planning my meals before breakfast. It's exhausting.

I completely agree with GoalWeightBetty. One of the best things about this medication, besides the weight loss, is that food doesn't feel like a full-time job anymore. It's liberating!
